PAHERI
The powerful nomarch of el-Kab dug for himself, in the hillside, a simple tomb, but it is decorated with rich iconography which associates both civil and religious scenes. |

AHMOSE, SON OF ABANA
This is the best known tomb in el-Kab. Although a small tomb it is famous because it contains the well known war chronicles of the crew commander Ahmose, who was a man of valour, who served under three different Pharaohs. It represents the only historic source dealing with the expulsion of the Hyksos. |
